December Memories Series 1:  Here is my first series of Christmas cards!  I made them in hopes of creating more locally winter themed cards in the future.  I want to learn more about the local seasonal fauna and I believe this will inspire a new new series for spring! Stay tuned and Happy New Year!

November 16 Craft Fair Recap

This year I featured my artwork at the annual Duncan Volunteer Firefighter Department's Craft Fair.  All proceeds from the table fee, Santa photos, and food sales benefited the Muscular Dystrophy Canada.  There were over sixty vendors featuring the most beautiful handmade items I've ever seen!  Thank you to all the volunteers and firefighter department!  It was a lovely event!

Seasons Greetings to all!  To celebrate our day of snow outside I've decided to post snapshots of my new paintings of my winter collection.  The first painting is to commemorate the reintroduction of bluebirds by the Gary Oak Ecosystems Recovery Team to the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island.  You can learn more through their website:  Bring Back the Bluebirds

Art Beat was such a success this Friday that I will be back next week!  The crowd and bluegrass music was so well done!   Thank you to Karen at Saltspring Soapworks for inviting me and letting me try your new green tea body gelato!

I will be making additional artwork to replace what has been selling so be on the lookout!

Winery Showcase comes to an end.

I would like to thank Deol Estate Winery and the Deol Family for letting me showcase my work and artwork from other local artists at the winery.  We had a lot of good feedback from the public who enjoyed being able to view local artwork at the winery.  There will be some new changes coming as the studio will continue running from my home.

If you did see something that interested you in our blog you are welcome to contact me directly through my email katrinaesp@gmail.com.  Thank you for your continued support.
